DoorMe Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the DoorMe mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DoorMe allows property hosts to upload short-form videos explaining how to use features of their rental property, and allows guests to search and view those videos for properties they are staying at.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Hosts are responsible for maintaining accurate listing information and for all content uploaded under their account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts may not be used by anyone under the age of 13 (or applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction).

4. Host Content and License

• Hosts retain ownership of the video content they upload ("Host Content").
• By uploading Host Content, hosts grant DoorMe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content to guests for the purpose of operating the Service.
• Hosts represent that they have all necessary rights to the Host Content they upload and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.
• Minors may not appear in any Host Content. This applies to welcome videos, room/appliance videos, and all other uploaded content, without exception.
• Host Content may not include property-access information. This includes, without limitation, gate codes, lockbox combinations, door codes, alarm codes, physical key locations, or any other information that could be used to gain unauthorized entry to the property. Such content will be removed and may result in account suspension.
• DoorMe reserves the right to remove Host Content that violates these Terms.

5. Guest Use

Guests may access and view Host Content solely for lawful, personal purposes related to their stay at the associated property. Guests may not download, redistribute, or publicly republish Host Content without the host's permission.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

• Host access to publish listings requires a paid subscription, billed per listing on a recurring basis through Stripe.
• Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Hosts may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
• DoorMe may change subscription pricing with advance notice to affected hosts.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content
• Include minors in any uploaded video content
• Include gate codes, lockbox combinations, door codes, alarm codes, or other property-access information in any uploaded content
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent a listing
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service
• Use the Service for any purpose other than its intended function

8. Intellectual Property

The DoorMe name, logo, and branding are the property of LaVilla Holdings LLC. Except for Host Content, all other content and software comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to DoorMe and may not be used without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. DoorMe does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of Host Content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoorMe and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

DoorMe may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms. Hosts and guests may stop using the Service and close their account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

DoorMe may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
